The core of this team has already been together for at least 5 years, which explains why alongside all the dedication, we are a group of amazing friends. We do not only strive for amazing plays and getting to the highest level but most importantly for laughter and connection with each other through many team activities. You can see some of us every Friday in the hall or canteen, shouting SECOND POST!, getting extra training, watching other matches, or enjoying the third half together. Even more, team weekends, birthday parties, clubbing, potlucks, board game nights, other sports and tournaments, and working or even living together are frequently seen. In our multiple WhatsApp chats, caring for and helping each other when times are tough are customary and random jokes are seen daily. Kicking off this year with some of the newer but most welcome members of our family, we only see improvement in our team spirit. We were promoted to 1st klasse and the atmosphere is better than ever. Up to many more seasons of VR1!
